I use this app every day all day long for many years now. Unlike another reviewer, it works fine for me on Ventura 13.6.3. I am only afraid some day it won't be available!

One of the few Islamic Apps that is simple but elegant do the thing it supposed do. Good job!

Simple, Elegant and Perfectly working in my latest update sonoma.

I have been using it on my Mac Mini for over 5 years. No compliants so far. Like the fact that I can set adhan or each prayer differently.

Thanks a lot of this useful App, may Allah gives you all the Ajr for it. One small request: Could you please add Dark mode to it? That would be great!

I LOVE(D) this app. Of the many prayer time apps I tried, this one was the best, by far. I used it for years. Sadly, it has not worked properly since Mac OS Ventura. First it started freezing up, making it's own controls unavailable--a big problem for me, since I work remotely and daily have to switch prayer reminders on and off based on when I have meetings. Now, in the last few weeks, it also freezes up my browser, and my latop's system controls (e.g., "sleep" doesn't work, can't even bring up the force quit window), requiring endless reboots, only to have everything go down again. I was really hoping for an updated version of this that would work with Ventura, but nothing for the last three years. I tried contacting the developer about this, to see if one might be planned, but the only contact info is through Twitter and I never got a response. I'm very sad about it no longer working on a desktop computer. It is way more handy for me to have my reminders on my laptop than my phone, but I can no longer have this app on my computer--it sinks everything. :-((

Excelent app. Only the essential funcions in a minimalistic, simlple and elegant way.

اعجبتني جدا بساطة البرنامج يقدم المطلوب فقط اوقات الصلاة والتاريخ الهجري بدون اي اضافات تشتت المستخدم ولا اعلانات مزعجة برغم انه مجاني اعجبني وجود خيار اظهار الوقت المتقبقي للصلاة القادمة في المنيو بار اعجبتني خاصية التحكم بصوت الاذان وانها غير مربوطة بصوت الجهاز تستطيع التحكم بعلو اشعار الاذان بالمدى الذي يناسبك شكرا لصناع التطبيق وجزاكم الله خير

this app used to work perfectly but then while I was traveling it stopped showing up at the top bar, I cannot find the application under security & Privacy even after deleting and redownloading it multiple times, non of the "support" links works and takes me to the same landing page with no contact information,

App is great and works fine on MAC. However, daylight savings time is missing and praying Asr at wrong time.

Great application, I am using it for years. I wish it would be optimized for m1 processors.

This is the Unix philosophy, the same philosophy that the entirety of macOS is based on. There will be one tool to do a certain job, and that tool will be really specialized and really good at that job. This is exactly what that app is. This tool is very good at giving you an accurate athan, and good at letting you calibrate your settings. Even more accurate than Google is!

i rleally love the idea and how the app is not complex at all however, the times are a few minutes off.

I like how simple and minimal the app is. it has all what i need with no add-ons or complications.

this apps timing is off. Says fajr is -minutes away but it already athened fajr. Also the numbers arnt decresing they are increasing meaning it will never athen fajr on the app. goes from -20minutes to -50minites and then -hour and 20 minutes.

Doesnt show correct timings. Manually adjusted the prayer times but it went off again!

This app is really helpful and the nice thing about this app is that there is nothing that you need to purchase. All of the features are free.

App breach privacy. Asks for screen recording in Mac OS Catalina.

Assalam Alaykum, Thank you for this great little application. Simple, Elegant and functional, what every muslim wants in his menu bar. I would give it 5 stars if you just add the ability to show the Hijri date along side the prayer time or choose between them. I really want always to keep track of Hijri date and sitting in the menu bar would be the perfect solution to that. Hope you get this message and you start working on it. Keep it up brother.

This app shows prayer times with a countdown to latest in the menubar, and has optional athan. Customizable to make more compact. Simple and elegant

After I upgraded to Catalina, I received a massage when I open Guidance; " Guidance would like to record this computer's screen". Why is that?!!

I recently upgraded to Catalina - this morning I get a message - "Guidance would like to record this computer's screen." This is a privacy violation. Please explain this or else I will report it to Apple. I have taken a pic of the warning that poped up as proof. I tried to report this on the Guidance web site first but there is no customer support links.

This apps is fantastic in its ease of use.

Simple. Minimal. Elegant. Guidance focuses on providing quality performance and a smooth experience. It notifies you of each prayer accompanied with a warm Athan and a duaa. It has a preferences option where you can adjust various settings. Timings are accurate and sits in the menu bar nicely without hampering workflow. The app doesn't require any payments and does not disturb you with ads. Hugely appreciate the effort put into creating this app! Would love to see continuous updates and improvements.

I have used this app for years and have loved and appreciated it. However when I updated to OSX 10.14 it no longer plays the Adhan when it is prayer time. Even when I open preferences and click to play it does not play. And the App Support link in the App store just goes to their website with no contact or support. I would love to see this fixed and would be happy to upgrade my review stars if fixed.

It does exactly what I need without anything more than that. I love the simplicity of design and functionality and wish it stays like this forever

Amazing free app that gives all the prayer times and with customizable times/angles.

Application keeps crashing on launch in MacOS High Sierra (10.13.2 (17C88)). Following is the error show on log Terminating app due to uncaught exception 'NSInvalidArgumentException', reason: '*** -[__NSPlaceholderDictionary initWithObjects:forKeys:count:]: attempt to insert nil object from objects[1]’ Please fix this

A no-nonsense athan app. You can have the notifications silent but still have a banner, set location automatically, and play a du’a after the athan.

I’ve been using Guidance since it was first released. The newest version works flawlessly with macOS and the prayer times are even more accurate now! Can’t recommend it enough!

After updating to this new version, the App is not even aching. deleted and cleared and got it again without success. Please fix ASAP.
